Introduction

This office is playing an important role in the operation of artificial insemination program for breed improvement in cows, buffaloes and goats with the main slogan "Artificial Insemination is the key factor for Breed Improvement". . In principle, the genetic ability inherent in animals is a prerequisite for increasing animal production and productivity, which can only be achieved through breeding and only after proper adjustment of all other management activities, the inherent production and productivity ability in animals is displayed or seen. History: First of all, in the year 2040, this office was established in an area of about 10 hectares in the current Lahan Municipality Ward No. 10 of Sirha District of Sagarmatha Region to raise and maintain and manage high quality foals and calves for the breeding improvement of Gari buffaloes. Along with the development of technology, to expand and spread artificial insemination from the frozen semen of advanced red bulls for breed improvement. In the year 2066, the semen processing laboratory was established in this office, and the production of frozen semen of raga was started and liquid nitrogen was produced and purchased. This office has been playing an important role to expand the artificial insemination work by distributing it to the centers. Processed frozen sperm straws, which are not filled for preservation and storage, were purchased from the private sector in the past for easy supply of liquid nitrogen. Since the month of August 2076, the installation of a large capacity liquid nitrogen plant has been completed within the office and currently this plant is selling and distributing frozen semen and liquid nitrogen for artificial insemination work in the eastern development area of Savik and the current province 1 and 2. Besides, the semen of Haryana breed is being processed and sold all over the country. At present, this office has produced frozen semen and liquid nitrogen of Jersey, Heilstein and Haryana breeds and Murra breeds with high reproductive value. Sales and distribution are being done in the centers.
